Days Inn by Wyndham Aiken - Interstate Hwy 20

First and foremost....It is cheaper if you pay cash! This was a casual trip. I was there to visit my boyfriend who is working in Aiken. Him and his crews tend to stay in cheaper places. The rooms are old. I could probably find things in each room that need to be repaired, from leaky faucets in the bathroom to broken kleenex holders. Could definitely use a deep clean! However there were no bugs. It was quiet. I never felt unsafe. The pool was very clean. The couple cleaning the rooms were very sweet. Another lady, came to my door to see if we needed anything. I'm not sure of her name. Super fantastic lady with a great personality. Very convenient location to highway, fast food and stores. I will stay again.

We were unsure of our travel plans so I didn't make reservations but called a couple days before to see if we could get a room on arrival. Super nice person on phone. We were in crew cab truck with 30' gooseneck trailer and stopped for fuel at the Circle K across the street. While my husband was fueling the truck I called and gave my name/phone number. We were able to drive directly across from Circle K and pull into the designated trailer parking area. Both people at front desk were pleasant, polite, and helpful. Smooth check in. We normally travel in our RV for "our own clean bed and bathroom" so I was wondering how our accommodations would be and whether it would be a restful or stressful night. I can only speak about one room and one night but THE ROOM WAS CLEAN, ALL LINENS WERE CLEAN, COMFORTABLE MATTRESS. We enjoyed a restful night. Our room was requested non -smoking and pet friendly -- it was both. The breakfast looked good but we enjoy a Hardee's Breakfast platter that was available across the parking lot.

Customer Service was excellent. Sweet and friendly. I asked the receptionist if I could get a carpet room cause my 8 month old likes to crawl around and she helped us out. Was greatly appreciated. Room smelt good when we walked in. The air conditioner/heater was working when we walked in but then stopped working after awhile. Went to the front desk and called them. They said maintenance would come fix it. Maintenance never came. The next morning the maintenance man showed up and told us he was "too tired" to come look at it. Also, while I was going through my suitcase a ROACH BUG was crawling on my clothes!! Figured they fixed their bug problem with stuff around the walls. We did ask to talk with the owner on several occasions cause we wanted to ask him about weekly rates but we were always given the go around that he was busy with other stuff. My fiance kept saying he was scratching all night so he was worried about bedbugs. The next morning my fiance told the cleaning lady and man and he asked for clean bed sheets. They removed them and put fresh linens on for us. Oh, and the bathroom door would not shut cause it was broken like someone kicked it in or something. Maintenance man put two screws in it and said it was okay.

Great service, great room, good location.. highly recommend. Breakfast was ok.

Older structure, but updated. Pleasant, clean, oderless room, comfortable bed, adequate breakfast. Fine for an overnight rest on the way south. Good value.

Stayed overnight because of car troubles. Friendly receptionist. Older hotel but updated and clean. Waffle House in walking distance. Area seemed safe and friendly folks. Would stay again.

Professional friendly staff. Owners friendly and invested in seeing their clients have a great stay. Convenient to I-20.very safe and well light. Close to venues.

We have stayed here several times and were pleased. This time the rack that holds your clothes partially came out the wall. The staff is really friendly and helpful.
